Relay (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a social publishing platform that allows users to create, schedule, and publish content to multiple social media platforms, including TikTok. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our service.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: Name, email address, and credentials you provide when creating an account.
• Social platform tokens: OAuth access tokens you grant us to publish content on connected platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X). These tokens are stored securely and used solely to perform actions you explicitly authorize.
• Content you create: Posts, captions, media files, and scheduling data you input into Relay.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and error logs collected to improve the service.
• Device & technical data: IP address, browser type, and operating system.

• To authenticate you and manage your account.
• To publish, schedule, and manage content on social platforms on your behalf, using only the permissions you explicitly grant.
• To send transactional emails (e.g., password reset, post confirmation).
• To analyze usage patterns and improve the service.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations.

When you connect your TikTok account, Relay accesses your TikTok profile and publishing capabilities solely to perform actions you request (e.g., uploading videos or images). We do not sell, rent, or share your TikTok data with third parties. We do not use TikTok data to build advertising profiles. Data obtained through the TikTok API is used in accordance with TikTok's Platform Terms.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Social platforms: To fulfill publishing requests you initiate.
• Service providers: Hosting, analytics, and infrastructure vendors who process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
• Legal authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Social platform tokens are deleted promptly when you disconnect a platform or delete your account. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
