Terms of Service

By accessing or using Relay (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including those who connect third-party social media accounts such as TikTok.

Relay is a social media publishing tool that allows users to create, schedule, and publish content to multiple social platforms from a single interface. The Service uses official APIs provided by third-party platforms (including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter/X) to perform publishing actions on your behalf.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. By using Relay, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@relay.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

When you connect a social media account (e.g., TikTok) to Relay, you authorize us to access and use that account solely to perform actions you request through the Service. You acknowledge that:

• You own or have the right to publish all content you submit through Relay.
• You are responsible for complying with each connected platform's own terms of service and community guidelines.
• Relay is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok or any other platform we integrate with.
• You may revoke Relay's access to a connected account at any time through that platform's settings or through the Relay app.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Publish content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or harmful.
• Violate any third-party platform's terms of service or community guidelines.
• Distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited commercial messages.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use automated scripts to interact with the Service in ways not permitted by these Terms.

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create and publish through Relay. By submitting content, you grant Relay a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

All rights, title, and interest in the Relay platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation, are owned by Relay. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Relay's name, logo, or trademarks without prior written consent.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms and APIs. Relay is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of those third-party services. Your use of third-party platforms is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT PUBLISHED THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL REACH ITS INTENDED AUDIENCE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RELAY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Relay and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
